Negotiations

Dear Silver Flight Attendants,

After a year of bargaining including federal mediation, we are pleased to present a Tentative Agreement for your consideration.

Since day one, we told you that we would not bring you a Tentative Agreement to vote on unless it included much needed improvements in pay and working conditions for Silver Flight Attendants. With your continual support, we were finally able to secure an Agreement that is fair to the Silver Flight Attendants and rewards us for our hard work and dedication to the Company.

With an effective date of January 1, 2023, Silver Flight Attendants would receive pay raises ranging from 8-17% (depending on seniority level) for the first year of the Agreement, a daily minimum guarantee of 3.5 hours, 100% pay for deadheads, and $2.25 per diem for all hours spend on duty.

The Agreement we negotiated is a four-year agreement—the same duration as our current Contract, with the possibility of re-opening up negotiations 6 months prior to the amendable date.

Just like in all negotiations, we were not able to obtain everything we wanted. The union pushed for many items that you told us to ask for at the negotiating table. We were successful with obtaining some of these items and unsuccessful at obtaining others (e.g., boarding pay). In the end, we got the Company to agree to the highest percentage pay raises possible, a higher daily minimum guarantee, and additional per diem which provides the Silver Flight Attendants with a compensation package bigger than any other independently owned regional airline.

Your MEC supports this Tentative Agreement because we believe it is a fair compensation package and provides immediate pay raises to the Silver Flight Attendants which are long overdue. Ultimately, the choice is yours. Your Negotiating Committee will be hosting in person and virtual roadshows which will be announced soon to help you make an informed decision.

In solidarity,
Your Master Executive Council
