Amelia Joseph

My name is Amelia Joseph and I’ve dedicated 11 years to my career and lifestyle as a Flight Attendant. I began flying in the year 2013 with Seaborne Airlines. After the merger of Seaborne and Silver, I became a flight attendant for Silver Airways. It was there that I first experienced working as a Flight Attendant with the support of a Union on my team. I started getting involved in the union first through the Hotel Committee, and later through Grievances.  

I enjoy playing tennis, working on 2,000 piece jigsaw puzzles, traveling, and spending time with my family. My favorite novels to read are Romantic novels, but on the contrary I love a good action/crime Netflix binge. But!! Let’s not forget Bridgerton.

I was born in the USVI, on the island of St. Croix, but I was raised in Dominica. I’ve also lived in Tortola, BVI and Newark, New Jersey.  Needless to say, this job as a flight attendant has connected me to my many homes.  

I am committed to working with my team to the best of my ability for the benefit of the Flight Attendants here at Silver Airways. Thank you for entrusting me with the leadership of your Union.
